Frequently Asked Questions

Below is a list of my most frequently asked questions regarding my general business practices, how to find your way around my website and purchase prints, as well as common ordering questions. If your question is not covered below, please contact me and I would be happy to assist you further.

What types of prints do you offer?

I currently offer four premium types of prints to display my images. Each type is hand selected by me from the best printers around the world, ensuring that each choice is one that will last for years and add elegance to any space. My images are available as Lumachrome Trulife Acrylic Prints, Exhibit Mount Metal Prints, FloatPlaq Wood Prints, and Cotton Fiber Rag Paper Prints. More information about each of these mediums can be found on my Prints page.

How do I purchase a print?

The images on my site are my very best work and are all available for purchase. To purchase, simply navigate to my Galleries page and select an image. At that point you can select the size and material you want drop the separate drop down menus.

Do you offer matting and framing? Can acrylic and metal prints be framed?

I believe choosing a mat and frame is something that is best done in person once you have the piece in hand. Working with a local framer can give you a more accurate color match not only to the print but also to your décor. Acrylic and metal prints can both be framed likewise upon receipt, but both mediums are designed to be fully finished and ready for hanging right away. To learn more about my print options, see my Prints page.

Do you offer custom sizes?

Yes, I offer custom sizes. If my standard sizes do not fit your chosen space, I would be happy to print a custom size for you or crop as needed. In the instance that the crop would significantly impact the composition of the image, I’d be happy to discuss other options for the needs of your space. Please contact me to discuss a personalized quote.

How do I determine what size I should order? How big can you print?

In general, a finished piece (including matting and framing) should cover 2/3 to 3/4 of the wall space you intend to display on. Be sure to measure your space and account for matting and framing if you are ordering a traditional print. I offer three ready to hang, frameless options, you can read more about my print types on my Prints page. How large I can print depends on the resolution of the original image, but sizes up to 84” are available for direct purchase for most images. If your space requires a unique size or crop, please contact me to discuss your needs.

How much is shipping? When will my print arrive?

Standard shipping is included for the lower 48 states. If you require rush shipping, are shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or shipping internationally, please contact me for a direct quote. To ensure I’m offering the highest quality pieces, I utilize multiple printers in my printing process. Please see my Prints page for more information about general shipping estimates for each type of print. Large pieces (larger than 30”) may require additional crating fees to ensure a safe arrival. As always, feel free to contact me to discuss a personalized estimate.

What if there is a quality issue with the print?

In my many years of selling my art, I have found printing issues to be exceedingly rare. I have partnered with the finest master printers in the country to provide the highest quality, museum grade prints to my clients. All of my prints are inspected by professionals prior to shipment. However, mistakes (while rare) can happen. In the event that a minor imperfection or flaw is present in the print that was not caused by handling during shipping, contact me within 2 days of receiving your order. Please inspect the piece in bright light upon arrival. Please provide clear, sharp photos, as well as an explanation of the defects to approve a claim with my print lab partner. If approved by the lab as a legitimate defect in workmanship, a replacement with the same specifications as the original order will be put into production.

Please use care when removing prints from their packaging upon receipt. Creases and dents may result from incorrect handling and unfortunately, I cannot replace or refund a print that has been mishandled in unpacking. If having the print framed, it is recommended to take the print directly to your framer.

What is your return policy?

Photo prints are not returnable once they have been mounted, matted, framed, cropped, or trimmed. Please inspect your print prior to having it framed or mounted. Alterations made to any hanging hardware such as float mounts, or alterations made to the print media are not covered. Any physical alteration voids any quality guarantee.
